UPCOMING EVENTS

National Robotics Week

The first annual National Robotics Week was held 10-18 April 2010 to recognize robotics technology as a pillar of 21st century American innovation, and highlight its growing importance in a wide variety of application areas, and emphasize its ability to inspire technology education. National Robotics Week is a product of a 2009 effort by leading universities and companies to create a "national roadmap" for robotics technology.  The roadmap was unveiled in May 2009. Caucus Co-Chair Mike Doyle and other members introduced H. Res. 1055 designating the second full week in April 2010 as National Robotics Week.
